Tone Stone Guitars was founded in 2022 in North Port, Florida during the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Founded by Guy Capuano, ToneStone’s signature is incorporating precious, semi-precious, and lab-created gemstones into guitars. Whether it be in place of traditional inlays, on top or inside of existing inlays, or any place you could dream of. The gemstones are not just cosmetic, as we have found a perceived change in the tone and feel of almost every guitar we have ever “Tone Stone modded”. Certain stones will have different impacts on both tone and feel. We also offer a range of guitar accessories, like truss rod covers and Bigsby with precious gemstones inlaid.
The greatest way to describe it is, it feels like the notes are already being played, sitting there, waiting for you to release it.
